what im up to

interests include: franks hot sauce, tiny outdoor punk shows, trying really hard to drink enough water and failing, watching my cat eat all of my plants, sitting on my front stoop, going up really tall hills, talking to strangers at the park, hunting for the perfect leather jacket, reading about genes with fun names (im looking at you sonic the hedgehog), making ttrpg plot lines that will never see the light of day, watching dragula one million times

recent hobbies include: whittling a small frog, playing piano but only in Gm, forgetting how to solve the top row of my rubix cube, trying to learn html after years of claiming "ill never learn coding, its not how my brain works", reminiscing on times ive slept in the woods, gearing up to make the transition from spotify to mp3s

i feel like ive spent so many years growing progressively more jaded about how the internet is turning out, but ive recently been having a lot of conversations about personalizing the internet again, removing subscription services and ai from your life, and de-googling your phone (still not sure how to go about that though, my beginner knowledge only stretches so far). so here's my attempt to stop being so jaded, and instead try and use tech in ways that i enjoy. we'll see how far i get!

things im thinking about

recently ive been considering whether or not there is a perfect way to be. if there is, is it specific to individuals? to your morals? religion can be so appealing because it of the framework it presents. without it we are forced to find another ideal to worship.. i think there is no way to ensure absolute goodness in our actions, only goodness in intentions. but what of the choices we make without intention? action through inaction?
